The Challenge
POVERTY
Poor food and water security, a lack of employment opportunities and a constrained local economy.
Loss Of Biodiversity
Widespread land degradation, declining wildlife populations and the localised extinction of important species.
Lack Of Opportunities
Limited access to markets and opportunities for communities to improve their livelihoods and adapt to climate change.
Regenerating rangelands for people and wildlife.
Rangelands Regeneration works to restore ecosystems and partner with people who depend on them to improve their livelihoods. Our goal is to contribute to strong, healthy communities by building resilient ecosystems, creating sustainable economic opportunities and re-establishing wildlife migration corridors.

We face the pivotal conundrum that the world’s most spectacular animals live with the world’s poorest people. This means that we cannot conserve global biodiversity without also taking on the challenge of enabling rural people and communities to take up their rights as citizens of humanity and as custodians of this biodiversity.
